Lady Tamika Newman is an anointed, creative, educated young woman who gives her all to God. She is most known for her truthfulness, sense of humor, strength and class.  She is a 21st century woman with strong leadership abilities and one that carries herself with grace, serving as an encouragement for women
to be Godly examples that strive for beauty from the inside out.

Lady Tamika Newman holds a Master’s Degree in Education and in Supervision Administration. She is currently employed by the New York City Department of Education. Her teaching skills have distinguished her as a par excellent Teacher. This gift has been recognized both secular and religiously. She is a woman of many talents.

Lady Tamika gave her heart to Christ at a very tender age and has worked in the church ever since.  She has always been sold out for the kingdom of God and is dedicated to submitting herself to the call of ministry on her life. From a child, she has been a very serious person when it comes to the work of the ministry.

Strong dedication and commitment are seen in her tireless labor in assisting her husband, Dr. Israel Newman, Senior Pastor of The Friendly Church of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. Together they have opened their home to children in need and provide a loving, nurturing, safe Christian environment for them. When it comes to the church, she is in constant support of the vision of her husband at all times. While doing that, she also serves as a wonderful example for women in the church. She works diligently with women of all walks of life helping them to grow.

Dr. Tamika serves as the leader of the Women’s Ministry and of Daughters of Zion young women's group, where she encourages women to live life and develop their authentic selves, build growth-fostering relationships and live empowered lives both spiritually and professionally.

As Lady Tamika continues to learn to walk in alignment with the Master's assignment, she strongly believes that God has strategically orchestrated everything in her life. Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
